The traditional timetable adjustment will take place on Sunday, 14 December 2025.
In addition to a few minor changes, three lines will benefit from major improvements to make your journeys even more comfortable, both nationally and internationally. As always, the updated timetables are available in real time via our timetable search on www.cfl.lu and on the CFL app.
In summary, the service is being strengthened on three lines:
Luxembourg – Libramont line: One train per hour between Luxembourg and Libramont with no train change in Arlon.
Rumelange – Noertzange line: Two trains per hour during peak times, and at least one train per hour during off-peak times with connections to Luxembourg.
Luxembourg – Troisvierges line: More trains on weekends and public holidays throughout the year.
To meet growing demand, CFL was able to rely on SNCB in implementing the necessary measures for a strengthened rail connection between Luxembourg and Libramont.
Luxembourg – Libramont
The trains running once per hour between Luxembourg and Arlon will now continue their journey to Libramont, with stops at:
Luxembourg – Bertrange-Strassen – Mamer-Lycée (during school periods, Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 20:00) – Mamer – Capellen – Kleinbettingen – Arlon – Viville – Stockem – Habay – Marbehan – Neufchâteau – Libramont.
Luxembourg – Brussels
Trains will continue to serve Marbehan and Libramont once per hour.
To meet growing demand and improve transport services in the “Käldall” valley, the frequency of trains between Noertzange and Rumelange is being increased:
Peak hours: 2 trains per hour between 6:00 and 8:00, as well as between 16:00 and 19:00
Off-peak hours: 1 train per hour
The new rail offer comes with adjustments to bus lines, which now run between train schedules to ensure better connectivity between train and bus.
