The Luxembourgish railway network is equipped with ticket vending machines. In less than a minute, CFL passengers can buy their tickets 24 hours a day.
Short duration tickets 1st class (Kurzzäitbilljee) and long duration tickets 1st class (Dagesbilljee) are available. Day return tickets to Belgium, Germany or France and the Rheinland-Pfalz-Ticket-PLUS Luxemburg can also be bought on these machines.
The Monthly short distance season ticket 1st class (Monatsstreckenabo) for the following train connections are now available on our vending machines:
Line 10 Lintgen – Luxembourg
Line 30 Roodt-sur-Syre – Luxembourg
Line 50 Capellen – Luxembourg
Line 60 Noertzange – Luxembourg
Line 70 Schouweiler – Luxembourg
All our ticket vending machines can be operated in Luxembourgish, French, German and English.
Please note that tickets are valid as soon as they are issued. Tickets issued cannot be refunded or exchanged.
Self-service ticket machines at the Luxembourg stations will accept Credit/Debit/Charge cards (Vpay, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro) as well as Euro coins.
The following ticket vending machines offer the possibility to pay with 5, 10, 20 or 50 Euro bank notes:
Luxembourg (all machines)
Wasserbillig (close to the main building)
Esch-sur-Alzette (underground passage)
Differdange (shelter track 1)
Pétange (shelter track 2/3)
Rodange (close to the main building)
100 € notes are accepted if the purchase is equal or superior to 40 €.
On the spot sales of national, regional and international tickets and season tickets will continue at Luxembourg and Belval-Université train stations. A TICE point of sale for 1st class and cross-border (bus) tickets will be found at Esch-sur-Alzette train station.

Services at train stations:
To ensure optimum support for customers, innovative tools are available to them at our train station. The AURIS system and Wi-Fi hotspots are spread across an increasing number of stations and stops and help to provide customers with collective and individual information. Security cameras have been installed in an increasing number of stations, trains and at future P&Rs, and emergency phone booths are available on platforms in the event of an emergency, to ensure customer safety.

Book your trip from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) from 7:00 to 19:00.
Credit card payment is required for your international ticket orders. Either you withdraw your documents at our station office or we send them to your address.
