bikebox – secure bike hubs

Park your bike at one of the secure bike hubs.

Secure bike hubs greatly facilitate multimodality, primarily by smooth connections between bus, tram and train while also reducing the risk of theft and vandalism.

Throughout the country, you currently find 73 bikebox hubs, including 63 near CFL stations. Additionally, 26 more stations are in the planning stage to enhance the offer.

The free service allows you to park your bicycle securely in the immediate vicinity of public transport. Access to the bike hubs is guaranteed 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

How do I access the bike hub network bikebox?

The use of bike hubs is free. To access them, please order your personal key. The access key will be sent to you free of charge by mail.

Holders of an “mKaart” card with already activated access to the bikebox (formerly “mBox”) can continue to use the service until the expiration of its validity.

On the ACL website, you’ll find all the information about the terms and the services included in the “ACL Bike Assistance”. For existing customers with the classic ACL membership, all services are already included.

Yes, its use is strictly limited to the person who has subscribed to the bikebox service.

The loss or theft of the access key must be reported by phone at +352 2489 4516 or by email at bikebox.user@cfl.lu.

The use of the bikebox service entitles you to park only one single bicycle per bikebox station.

Access to bikebox hubs is only permitted for bicycles and pedelecs, as defined in the terms of use of the bikebox service.

Access to the bikebox service is subject to the availability of spaces in the bikebox hubs. CFL will not be held responsible for a lack of parking spaces.

Depending on demand, CFL reserve the right to limit the distribution of access keys to a certain number.

Holders of an “mKaart” card with already activated access to the bikebox (formerly “mBox”) can continue to use the service until the expiration of its validity.  In case of loss or theft of your “mKaart”, it will be replaced by an access key.
