The "Vëlosummer" returns from July 18 to August 16, 2026 for its 7th edition, inviting participants to discover Luxembourg by bike.
During summer holidays, construction works will affect specific railway lines at different periods. Please check for updates before departure.
In the north of the country, several tours are easily accessible by train thanks to an enhanced service on the Luxembourg–Troisvierges line, with two trains per hour on weekends and public holidays.
Bicycle rental stations will be available directly at the starting points of selected tours to simplify the train and bike combination:
- In Goebelsmuehle for the Uewersauer Tour on July 18 and July 19 with "RentaBike Diekirch" and "Naturpark Uewersauer".
- In Mersch for Alles op de Vëlo on July 19, at Place St Michel.
- In Wilwerwiltz for VëloViaNorden on August 8 and August 9, as well as August 15 and August 16, with "RentaBike Ardennes".
- In Mersch for the Castle Tour on July 25 and July 26, at the P+R "Lohr" near the railway station, with "RentaBike Mëllerdall"
Advance booking is strongly recommended to ensure bicycle availability.
Due to the high number of visitors during Vëlosummer weekends, bicycle transport on trains remains limited. Travellers are therefore advised to consider alternative train times and connections.

For your safety and that of others, bicycles must be pushed by hand within stations and on platforms.
