For this year, which marks its 15th anniversary, the Centre Pompidou Metz has plenty of surprises in store for you. With the 5-year closure of its well-known counterpart, the Centre Pompidou Paris, the institution of Lorraine, which opened in 2010, is hosting– a collection of works from the Musée National d'Art Moderne in Paris. Starting May 8, 2025, discover how the museum transforms its galleries to present works directly from the capital, allowing them to interact with those by the artist Maurizio Cattelan.

A weekend to celebrate the 15th anniversary

The celebrations for the Centre Pompidou-Metz’s 15th anniversary kick off with the opening of the exhibition “Endless Sunday. Maurizio Cattelan and the Pompidou Collection” (from 08.05.25 to 02.02.27). Vinii Revlon, a prodigy of voguing, will lead this anniversary weekend by inviting the public to the catwalk on Friday, May 9 at 8 p.m. Workshops will introduce participants to voguing and wacking dance styles. On Saturday, May 10, a special evening of music will take place in the garden of the Centre Pompidou-Metz from 8 p.m. DJ Kiddy Smile, a leading figure in the French queer vogue scene, will perform new tracks live.
