Ten minutes by bus from the city, the Belval blast furnaces offer a glimpse into the iron ore industry that dominated Luxembourg's economy over 100 years ago. To make your stay easier, the hostel is conveniently located near the Esch-sur-Alzette railway station with frequent train connections.

The youth hostel in Remerschen is perfectly located for a walk around the vineyards or to educate oneself at the nature conservation centre Biodiversum in the nature reserve “Haff Réimech”. You’ll be informed about the history of the nature reserve and the submarine world of the area. If you enjoy hiking or cycling, you will find what you are looking for on the various trails nearby. Located in the border triangle of Luxembourg, Germany and France, Remerschen charms visitors with its lakes and a whole range of activities. Don't hesitate to pay a visit and recharge your batteries in the fresh air of the Moselle. From Luxembourg station, an RGTR bus will take you to the door of the hostel.
