Amsterdam - inspiring, with water and canals

The official capital of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and situated below sea level, Amsterdam is a city unlike any other. Opening out onto the North Sea, it is criss-crossed by a network of concentric canals of great architectural richness, which have earned it its famous nickname, the ‘Venice of the North’.
