The company making the statement "Société nationale des Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois" known as CFL is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the law of 28 May 2019 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.

This accessibility statement applies to the mobile application CFL International.

What is digital accessibility?

Since 2025, CFL has been working on a gradual transformation of its digital products (websites and mobile applications) and is committed to a five-year period to achieve optimal AA compliance by integrating best practices in digital accessibility from the design stage.

Compliance status

This mobile application not compliant with the European standard EN 301 549 and the Mobile App Accessibility Assessment Framework (RAAM 1.1) that implements it.

Non-Accessible Content

The application does not meet the accessibility requirements of the European standard EN 301 549 and RAAM 1.1.

Non-Conformities

  • Interactive elements on the page do not have roles, states or names that allow valid use by assistive technology (e.g. screen readers, for visually impaired users),
  • It is not possible to fully use the site via keyboard, as some components are not reachable or operable,
  • The application does not support quick navigation by headings,
  • Interactive elements reachable by keyboard and screen reader do not display a sufficiently visible focus indicator, or are sometimes invisible,
  • Some graphic elements do not have sufficient contrast to be legible,
  • Some graphic and textual elements do not have sufficient contrast to be legible,
  • Forms require rewriting in order to be correctly rendered by assistive technology.

Enforcement procedure

Should the reply be unsatisfactory, you also have the possibility of informing the Information and Press Service, the body responsible for supervising accessibility, via its online complaint form, or the Ombudsman, the mediator of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

In the event of any discrepancy between this version and the French version, the French version shall prevail.
