Accompanied children

For train journeys between Luxembourg and Switzerland, children from 6 to under 12 years old (CFL), from 4 to under 12 years old (SNCF), from 6 to under 15 years old (SBB/CFF and DB), travel free of charge (under certain conditions).

For train journeys between Luxembourg and Switzerland, children from 6 to under 12 years old (CFL), from 4 to under 12 years old (SNCF), from 6 to under 15 years old (SBB/CFF and DB), travel free of charge on the CFL, SBB/CFF and DB networks.

Children must be accompanied by an adult passenger at least 18 years old with a valid ticket in order to take advantage of the free children's ticket.

For journeys on the SNCF network, children from 4 to under 12 years old pay half the normal adult price, while older children pay the normal price.

The children and adults do not have to be related if they travel via the SNCF network.

However, if the journey is taken via the DB network, the children must be accompanied by one of their parents or grandparents with a valid ticket.

This promotional price is not combinable with other price reductions.

This offer is valid in 1st and 2nd class.
An adult may be accompanied by up to four children.
