The "long duration 2nd class ticket" is valid, after it is issued, on all services of the public transport network without any restrictions, until 4:00 am the next day. It is valid in 2nd class.
A "long duration 2nd class ticket" issued or validated to the customer on 19 January 2017 is valid until 20 January 2017 at 4.00 am. It is not valid from and to a frontier point.
A "long duration 2nd class ticket" is sold for €4.
If the passenger buys it on the train, the price is €5.
It is also possible to buy a booklet of five tickets. The price is €16. A booklet offers a 20 % discount on the price of a single ticket.
Use in 1st class
You can also use the "long duration 2nd class ticket" in 1st class against a payment of a €2 supplement per ticket. This supplement is only sold by CFL stations and by the train managers.
Of course you can buy a "long duration 1st class ticket" before your departure at train stations with ticket offices or ticket vending machines.
