Travel to Fond-de-Gras from Pétange station in a historic train every Sunday and public holiday (except on National Day 23 June) until 24 September. Spend a colourful day at Fond-de-Gras and enjoy wonderful walks in exceptional surroundings.
You will find numerous sign-posted paths through Giele Botter nature reserve, formerly an open-pit mine. You have the option to take a mining train to discover the former workers' village of Lasauvage and visit Tëtelbierg archaeological site.
A train every 30 minutes
Take CFL trains to reach Pétange train station; on Sundays and public holidays there is a train every half-hour. Search for the connections which suits you best here.
The departure point for the historic trains is only a few steps away from the CFL platforms.
