Nature and railway heritage: the CFL take you to the "Minett Park"

From 1st of May spend the day in a fascinating place and discover the perfect combination of industrial heritage and nature reserve. Travel to Pétange station on a CFL train and discover Fond-de-Gras in a historic train.

Travel to Fond-de-Gras from Pétange station in a historic train every Sunday and public holiday until 29 September.

This year the Train 1900 and the mining train "Minièresbunn" also ride on Thursdays on following days:

- July: Thursday 18, Thursday 25
- August: Thursday 1, Thursday 8

Spend a colourful day at Fond-de-Gras and enjoy wonderful walks in exceptional surroundings. You will find numerous sign-posted paths through Giele Botter nature reserve, formerly an open-pit mine. You have the option to take a mining train to discover the former workers' village of Lasauvage and visit Tëtelbierg archaeological site.

Take CFL trains to reach Pétange train station; on Sundays and public holidays there is at least one train every hour. Search for the connections which suits you best here.​

The departure point for the historic trains is only a few steps away from the CFL platforms.
